Apple Standard EULA
TapToll is licensed under Apple’s Apple Standard EULA, unless Apple or App Store Connect shows a different license for the app.
These terms are supplemental notices for TapToll. They do not replace Apple’s Standard EULA and do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
What TapToll does
TapToll is a self-directed focus and digital wellbeing app. You voluntarily create focus rules, choose distracting apps or categories, and apply either daily limits or focus hours on your own device.
The app uses Apple Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to help apply those rules. The system shield is informational in V1 and does not process purchases directly.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
TapToll subscriptions and consumable paid overrides are billed through Apple’s App Store. Prices, billing periods, and product details are shown in the app before checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account before the renewal date.
Paid overrides are consumable App Store products that can grant extra minutes or temporary unlocks inside the app when the current rule and spend-cap state allows it.
Apple handles App Store billing, cancellation, refund requests, billing disputes, and payment-method management under Apple’s terms and policies.
Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
As a consumer in the EU you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons. Apple operates the App Store purchase, and Digitalendeavours is the provider and trader of TapToll and its in-app products.
Paid overrides and other digital content are supplied immediately. By confirming such a purchase you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once performance has begun (§ 356(5) BGB).
For subscriptions, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase, subject to the same rule for any content already supplied. You can cancel future renewals at any time through your Apple account.
To exercise a withdrawal, request a refund, or raise a billing issue, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” process at reportaproblem.apple.com or contact us at support@taptoll.app. Your mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Product limits
TapToll depends on iOS permissions, device state, Apple Screen Time and Family Controls behavior, and Apple platform capabilities. We aim to make enforcement reliable, but we do not guarantee that blocking, usage accounting, or schedule behavior will be uninterrupted in every device state or iOS version.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health.
For slightly negligent breaches we are liable only where we breach an essential contractual obligation (a duty whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may reasonably rely), and then only for the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Any further liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected.
TapToll is a self-directed wellbeing tool, not a medical, mental-health, emergency, or parental-monitoring service. You should not rely on it where failure could cause personal, legal, or financial harm.
Consumer rights and governing law
Digitalendeavours acts as the trader and seller of TapToll and its in-app products within the meaning of EU consumer law. Mandatory consumer protection rights remain unaffected.
German law applies where legally allowed, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
